Favorite Hip Hop

These are my friend Peter's top 10 hip hop albums, cause he is the man.
1Binary Star
Masters of the Universe

This is the most underrated album in the history of the world. Senim Silla and One.Be.Lo are the most dynamic duo of rappers east of the Mississippi. From the fast-paced Masters of the Universe (song), to the lyrically genius creation of Reality Check, and the in-your-face smack talk in Honest Expression, although it is a bit underground, the album is quite possibly the most slept on in history. Check it the fuck out.
2A Tribe Called Quest
Midnight Marauders

Fuck Low End Theory. Fuck People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm. This is the best ATCQ album ever made. You start off great with Steve Biko (Stir It Up), followed by the always classic Award Tour. But my personal favorite has to be We Can Get Down.
3Wu-Tang Clan
Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)

Everyone seemingly likes this album, and with good lyrics. The Wu-Tang Clan were very original with their beats and lyrics, but my favorite album comes at the end with Wu-Tang: 7th Chamber?Part II.
4CunninLynguists
Dirty Acres

The fourth album from this trio of Kentucky-based rappers is great. Valley of Death is my favorite on the track, which is a song featuring a hard beat with hard lyrics, but the album really slows down with tracks such as The Park, Yellow Lines, and Things I Dream.
5 Camp Lo
Uptown Saturday Night

I can understand many people not agreeing with me, but this album is amazing. Luchini remains as one of the greatest beats ever, along with Black Connection, Black Nostaljack, and Coolie High, this album is great.
6 Little Brother
Getback

This is another slept on artist by a pretty-much underground rapper. Blu is the rapper, while Exile is his partner in crime producing the levitating beats. It may be hard to find, but you can listen to most of the album on Youtube. I would suggest checking out My World Is..., No Greater Love, Show Me The Good Life, and The World Is.
7 O.C.
Word...Life

O.C. released this album in '94, around the golden age of gangsta rap, but this album is quite different. Rather than rapping about how he is so tough and hardcore, O.C. tells the world about how hardcore the world is and how tough it is to live in it. My personal favorites from the album include Born 2 Live, Creative Control, and Ga Head.
8Blu & Exile
Below The Heavens

This is another slept on artist by a pretty-much underground rapper. Blu is the rapper, while Exile is his partner in crime producing the levitating beats. It may be hard to find, but you can listen to most of the album on Youtube. I would suggest checking out My World Is..., No Greater Love, Show Me The Good Life, and The World Is.
9Dr. Dre
The Chronic

Once again, another classic, album. No need to talk about it, because everything there is to be said has already been said.
10Souls of Mischief

Another personal favorite that will probably not be on anyone else's top 10 lists. The Souls hit it up in their debut album, which is clearly their best with hits like '93 til Infinity (song), A Name I Call Myself, and Let 'Em Know.
