Dillinger Escape Plan Ranked
1The Dillinger Escape Plan
Under the Running Board

Unpopular, but these three tracks are a perfect statement of intent for the band and shows they perfected their sound as soon as their career started. I've lost a lot of hearing to this EP. 10/10.
2The Dillinger Escape Plan
Ire Works

DEP's most experimental album where the familiar ground for them to tread on is mastered and the new ideas are bold and exciting. Initially confusing, like DEP's sound as a whole, the album has incredible staying power and remains fresh no matter how many times I listen. 10/10.
3The Dillinger Escape Plan
Irony Is a Dead Scene

DEP with Mike Patton is a match made in heaven. This EP is equal parts playful and horrifying and both are turned up to the highest degree the band ever met. When Good Dogs do Bad Things is possibly the greatest vocal performance I've ever heard. The Come to Daddy cover is a little clunky but still fits the record well. 9/10.
4The Dillinger Escape Plan
Miss Machine

Greg doesn't hold back on his DEP debut and it makes for one of the most aggressive albums they ever released. Many songs here go the extra mile past the point of sonic climax (namely Sunshine and the closer), making for an unpredictable and replayable listen, that also gave birth to the greatest live show ever filmed, the Virgin Megastore performance. 9/10.
5The Dillinger Escape Plan
Calculating Infinity

Brilliant and menacing. A few weak production moments holds it back from being perfect. 9/10.
6The Dillinger Escape Plan
One of Us Is the Killer

The first of two "Dillinger By the Numbers" albums, but this is them confident in their formula with diverse and consistently strong songwriting. No weak tracks here but I wish there was a little more innovation. 8/10.
7The Dillinger Escape Plan
Option Paralysis

The album opens with the strongest Greg-era track they ever recorded, but nothing else in the album reaches those heights, leading to an uneven listen. The tracks range from decent to perfect here, and on a good day this is equal to OoUitK. Billy Rymer is possibly the best drummer they ever had. 7/10.
8The Dillinger Escape Plan
Dissociation

Part of my distaste for this album is how exciting the teasers for the release were and how it hinted to a return to DEP experimenting with their sound more, and I was disappointed trying new things was isolated to the title track and Fugue and not spread across the record. It's an above average record for sure, but a disappointing end to an inspiring and near flawless career. 6/10.
