| November concert lineup
Shows on my horizon for the first half of the month ahead; I'm sitting around 25 concerts year to date, hoping to make it an even 30 by December. | 1 | | The Early November Twenty
Starting with a cheat, but saw these guys (along with I Can Make a Mess and Vinnie Caruana) at Das Ottobar last week, which is, y'know, *super* early November. | 2 | | GWAR The New Dark Ages
Playing Baltimore Soundstage 11/3 - Got my ticket locked up for this bad boy; I missed them when they came through D.C. earlier this year, glad I'm getting another chance (and much closer to homebase, to boot). Already went ahead and took the next day off haha | 3 | | Nekrogoblikon The Fundamental Slimes and Humours
Opening for GWAR - Very excited to see this little guy hop all around the stage. | 4 | | Crobot Something Supernatural
Also opening for GWAR - Truth be told, not particularly familiar with these guys, unless you count the fact that I'd confused them for Probot when I first spotted them on the bill. | 5 | | Silversun Pickups Physical Thrills
Playing Ram's Head Live 11/8 - This one's iffy--I still need to actually get around to giving this album a listen--but leaning towards going. Opener is a group called Eliza & The Delusionals, whom I'm not familiar with at all. | 6 | | The Menzingers On the Impossible Past
Playing Ram's Head Live 11/11 - Locked in for this one (and have been for months), 10 Year Anniversary tour for the above album, still hands-down their best work; weirdly, it somehow feels both like less and more time have passed since this became a mainstay of my CD player, and then turntable, but boy oh boy am I looking forward to belting myself hoarse at this one. | 7 | | Touche Amore Lament
Opening for Menzingers - I mean, honestly worth the cost of admission in their own right, definitely been too long since I've seen Jeremy and the gang. | 8 | | Screaming Females All At Once
Also opening for Menzingers - Another band I'm not super well-versed in--though, incidentally, pretty sure I also saw them live alongside Touche years and years ago at 9:30 Club, so that surely counts for something. | 9 | | Weedeater Goliathan
Playing Das Ottobar 11/14 - Somewhat on the fence about this one, if only due to it being the Monday after I get back from a wedding and an at-best spotty following of their discography. Gonna be a gameday decision. | 10 | | Telekinetic Yeti Primordial
Opening for Weedeater - I don't know this band at all, but hot damn, what a name! (Also opening: Donnie Doolittle, another artist not really on my radar, but with considerably less name appeal.) | |

11.01.22 | Hmmm, love all three of those bands, so that show sounds amazing--but yeah, I could pretty easily see the Coheed base in particular not really vibing, which is a damn shame. Even Alkaline Trio was a hard sell for them. Nice to know Touche still brings the thunder, though. | VlacDrac
