Cambodia : The Return
So as some know I work 8 months of a year in the middle of no where and then go travel for 4 months across the globe. I had planned on maybe doing the Dolomites in Italy or going to a friends wedding in Santiago but I got drunk and started reminiscing about the old days I spent in South East Asia (Cambodia mainly) with a guy who I worked with and visited Thailand a lot. I woke up to find 18 messages off friends out there saying 'OHHH AWESOME, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU' and such. I had no idea what was going on but upon checking my phone I had booked a 3 month flight to Asia. I Don't remember a thing about it. I tried to cancel but because it was the "Cheaper' option it was not refundable OR cancelable. I was kicking myself but had all summer to come around and now super hyped. It's been TEN YEARS since I was last in Cambodia. Lived a million lifetimes there. Ran out of money, Overstayed my visa by a year. Had all kinds of trouble with Police, Chancers and just proper movie shit but the thought of going back and mingling with the wonderful people who taught me so much about myself and about Humans in general got me sooooo excited as it draws in. Even if half the places where the chaos ensued will now be full of yoga pants wearing English teachers doing Vlogs. I got 3 weeks work left then a month of gigs then AWAY. Let's have it.
