There's so much music I love from the '90s (my favorite decade of music, honestly), that I could pick at least three albums from each year, but I will reserve it to one album a year, rather than doing thirteen (as has been the pattern so far -- with no repeat appearances by any artist, as has been the case so far):
1990: Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual
1991: Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik (I do prefer Nevermind over this album, but I'm reserving Nirvana for below)
1992: Alice in Chains - Dirt
1993: Nirvana - In Utero (my favorite album of theirs)
1994: Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral (my favorite album of the decade, without doubt)
1995: Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (I do prefer Siamese Dream, but that was '93)
1996: Stone Temple Pilots - Tiny Music... Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop
1997: Radiohead - OK Computer
1998: Outkast - Aquemini
1999: Eminem - The Slim Shady LP |
