Just Got Limp Bizkit Tickets

Maybe (definitely) it's an impulse stemming from the high of getting my work commission check a full pay period early, but pulled the trigger on seeing Fred'n'the fellas in May! They're playing my old alma mater (UMBC, so nothing exciting), it's a weekend show (on a Sunday, so only technically), and tickets were $25 ($40 after fees, so thanks Ticketmaster); my 30-something bones are already feeling the morning after, but nothing a few medicinal FourLokos won't fix, so let's GET HYPE!!! (List is other shows on my near-term horizon; hopefully we don't all blow up before these.)
1Limp Bizkit
Still Sucks

Awww yeah. Openers are $not (NOT Snot, apparently), Wargasm UK, and Scowl, exactly NONE of whom I know haha
2Kowloon Walled City
Piecework

Playing das Ottobar the evening of Record Store Day, so plenty of time for a power nap in there. Openers are Rid of Me and Burial Waves, both ALSO new to me (might be a theme emerging here...)
3Lucero
When You Found Me

Playing a local brewery on 4/28, may end up a gameday decision for me, but I really dug their last album, so solid maybe-leaning-towards-yes on this one.
4The Early November
The Mother, The Mechanic, and The Path

Actually just Ace Enders, but here's hoping he dusts off a couple golden oldies for us. Playing a hole in the wall called The Metro Gallery on 5/17. Openers are, surprise surprise, more unknowns, Rare Candy and Matt Rosa. Fun anecdote: The initial email I got about this show has mistakenly listed the showtime at 12pm, which I should've known was typo, it being a Tuesday and all, but hot damn does a noontime show sound amazing. I'm old af, guys.
5Manchester Orchestra
Live at Park Ave.

So actually just Andy Hull by his lonesome, so maybe Right Away, Great Captain! would have been the more apt pick, but here we are. Playing Sixth & I Historic Synagogue the day after the Ace Enders show. Back-to-back concerts, wish me luck. Missed the latest Manchester Tour on account of a double-booking, but this helps ease that hurt a bit.
6Phoebe Bridgers
Copycat Killer

Rescheduled show from last year, but playing The Anthem in DC on 6/11, we luck out and got the Saturday show wooohooo! Doesn't appear an opener has been announced (at least not that I've seen yet), so I technically know the full bill for this show, look at that!
