10.08.21 | Swap 8 and 5, then 7 and 4, and I can get behind this |

10.08.21 | I'd say swap Lodger for Young Americans or Diamond Dogs and I'm in |

10.08.21 | Diamond Dogs has always been the '70s Bowie album that does the least for me (not counting Pin-Ups). I think I even like Let's Dance more.
As for Young Americans, that one has always felt more like a stylistic experiment than an album I love unconditionally. Sure, there are a few songs I think are great (namely "Fame," though the "Across the Universe" cover is quite good too), but I've always found it more interesting for its sound than the songs themselves.
However, everything expressed above is just my opinion. To each their own. |

10.09.21 | Good list but bruh LOW all the way down at 8 got me weak.
Much love for LODGER at 5 tho. |

10.09.21 | I mean you have all 5 of his 76-80 period, so I approve |

10.09.21 | Diamond dogs has a shitty remaster imo |

10.09.21 | For me it's 1,6,8 as the top 3 after that I don't care as much. |

5. Hunky
6. Outside
7. Aladdin
8. Scary
9. Lodger

The rest I’m not fond of, The Man Who Sold the World is a real slog for me. Wouldn’t mind Toy being officially released as that would knock Tonight off my top 20 too |
JKing92
10.09.21 | The Man Who Sold the World is a lot like Young Americans for me, in that while I find the sounds it toys with very appealing, there are only a handful of moments where the sounds gel into a song I love ("Width of a Circle," the title song). I think Bowie definitely fulfilled the promise of The Man Who...'s hard-rocking glam on his next three albums.
I will also say that I've always had a strong dislike of Tonight, though personally I think Never Let Me Down is the worst album Bowie made. |

10.09.21 | JKing - those are the two palatable songs from ‘Sold the World’ agreed
Probably near interchangeable albums for me (Tonight and Sold the World) - neither is great, Tonight the slightly easier listen |

06.04.22 | super tame, but ig it's not the worst
i'd switch low, "heroes" and aladdin sane for outside, heathen and young americans |
JKing92
06.04.22 | Outside was super close for my retooling. It was basically between that and The Next Day, but I wound up ultimately giving it to The Next Day. |
