04.26.21 | Extra yes to Chevelle. Sci-Fi Crimes would probs be one of their more energetic albums, mebbe (Jars and Letter from a Thief are both pre high energy catchy songs for example)
The Cult - Beyond Good and Evil (Great arena rock album but specifically Rise if you are just looking for a particular song to draw from)
Fair to Midland - Fables from a Mayfly (Kyla Cries Cologne is especially a goodun)
Highly Suspect - Mister Asylum (Lost is super catchy and upbeat)
Audiovent - Dirty Sexy Knights in Paris ( kinda hit and miss as a whole but, my goodness, the song The Energy fucking rules so much)
Halifax - Inevitability of a Strange World (love the whole album, but the first 4 songs especially seem like what you are going for, I think)
Rival Sons - Great Western Valkyrie (vintagey sounding bluesy rock with a modern twist. Secret is a fun hard rocker with a groovy main riff)
Trust Company - Lonely Position of Neutral (oh man, listen to Downfall)
Young Guns - All Our Kings are Dead (DOA is so good) |

04.27.21 | I was going to recommend Trust Co. but they're more Linkin Park-ey nu-metal. Also totally forgot about Audiovent - and I OWN that album! :p
HIM though? WTAF SMH |
JeremiahBullfrog
04.27.21 | Black Veil Brides - Wretched And Divine: The Story Of The Wild Ones - album, don't scoff until you've heard it, don't be sputnik about it. Check it out, you might like it. My personal fav record. |
Rolling Girl
04.27.21 | HIMs got some jams don't you lie to me |

04.27.21 | HIM are great. |
Ecnalzen
04.27.21 | I have always been foggy on what qualifies as nu metal (even after looking it up) and consider TrustCo more on the hard rock side but oh well. Downfall rules and is a pre upbeat rockin song so I couldnt help myself
I had that Audiovent album at one point, too, but I have no idea where it is now, ha. I remember it being a mixed bag but The Energy is pre much the definition of a high energy fist pumping kick ass rock song |
