Xing's New Album IV!
I wrote and recorded an album completely from scratch during the 28 days of February as part of the RPM Challenge! I took influence from a lot of noise rock bands and added it to my mix of mathy-skramzy-post-whatever-style. I hope you guys dig it! 3-8 are some of my influences for Threatening Costume. |
1 | | Warren of Ohms Threatening Costume

2 | | Warren of Ohms Untitled 2021
I also released this record back in January. This was my therapy album after experiencing four deaths in my immediate family in 2.5 years. I released it in an unfinished state because I found myself no longer capable of sitting and working on these emotions as they were actively contributing to my deteriorating mental state. Broken album art cause I don't know how to fix it on this site. https://warrenofohms.bandcamp.com/album/untitled-2 |
3 | | Bunuel A Resting Place For Strangers
Underrated gem that absolutely SHREDS FACES! Featuring Eugene from Oxbow on vocals. |
4 | | Metz Atlas Vending
Tied for my AOTY last year. What a deliciously dissonant yet catchy blast of fun. |
5 | | Drive Like Jehu Yank Crime
Simply one of the greatest albums I've ever heard. Enough said. |
6 | | '68 In Humor and Sadness
The perfect balance of raw experimentalism and catchiness. Josh Scogin is a master vocalist. |
7 | | Hot Snakes Jericho Sirens
This band is mind blowingly consistent and I have no idea why this record is so underrated on this site. Not my favorite Hot Snakes record but they haven't missed a beat at all and this stands tall next to the rest of their discography. |
8 | | Unwound New Plastic Ideas
Perfection. Hard RIP to Vern Rumsey. |
