tectactoe 02.18.21	Let’s discuss (cold) breakfast cereals, ladies and gents. A staple of my childhood and a guilty pleasure as a now grown man. What can I say? Sugar rules.

Deathconscious 02.18.21	Those god tier and top tier cereals still sound good to me, but in practice, i would probably feel gross eating them.
ArsMoriendi 02.18.21	Mostly good list (especially since Cinnamon Life and Honey Bunches of Oats are high)... what that said: -Banana Nut Cheerios are too low, I adore them and I can never find them in supermarkets. I miss them :( -While I agree that Cinnamon Life is the best Life, regular Life should at least be mid-tier. It's probably the best "plain" cereal out there. -Where's Special K Red Berries? Totally different from plain Special K because the freeze dried strawberries are amazing

hel9000 02.18.21	Not the biggest cereal guy but my go-tos tend to be golden grahams, canadian corn pops (wtf are with American corn pops???), and plain cheerios. I just tried captain crunch w/ crunch berries for the first time last month, was alright but fake berry flavour is kinda gross

tectactoe 02.18.21	Ever since Trix strayed from actual fruit shaped pieces, they just haven’t been the same!!! Also, cmon Johnny - it is common knowledge that cereal is unhealthy. But most “breakfast foods” are just treats disguised as actual food. See also: pancakes, waffles, french toast, instant oatmeal, muffins, bagels and cream cheese, etc. I never eat cereal for breakfast. It’s always a “treat” for me. Like, sometimes I’ll eat a bowl of cereal in lieu of a pint of ice cream lol.

It’s kinda like Honey Bunches of Oats but it has little round pieces too like Nesquik, and it’s relatively low in sugar (6 grams per serving I think, most sugary cereals are 10+) and there’s a maple flavour that’s really good
tectactoe 02.20.21	That sounds delicious. And no, my blood sugar could not support regular cereal consumption lol. At this point for me it’s basically a dessert substitute. Like I’ll have a bowl of Fruity Pebbles on the weekend instead of ice cream or candy or whatever lol.

It seems like one of the cereals that’s always available in miniature boxes at hotels and airports. I’d take it over Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes for sure.
