01.02.21 | oh and Birth of the Cool. it was released in ‘57 but technically is more of a ‘50 release. imo it doesn’t get talked about enough in the context of his discography (maybe due to how it was packaged/arranged?) but I think it’s an important precursor |

01.02.21 | If you enjoy electric period and haven't jammed Big Fun or Get Up With It, I highly recommened them. They are compilation LPs that make up material that didn't get included on albums such as Bitches Brew, Jack Johnson and On the Corner. Just because they weren't included on those LPs doesn't suggest they are of poor quality. In fact, it's properly due to the extreme size of these tracks, several of which are around 30 mins long. |
