I discovered Vinegar Syndrome about a year ago and it has been bad for my wallet but worth it I'd say as a big horror movie fan. Their transfers are sublime. There's definitely something special about seeing a movie nearly 50 years old in 4K HD. Even with the 50% off Black Friday sale the movies are still expensive but may as well take advantage of it while I can. I also bought a shit ton of vinyl because there’s been a sale where I live since the pandemic started. Also, fuck Netflix and streaming movies in general.
Body Melt is such a rad movie, they need to release the ost. I'm also a big horror blu ray and vinyl collector, I'd be up to discuss my collections anytime
This is less boutique but Shout! Factory puts out excellent horror blu rays, especially if you're a Carpenter fan. Also check out Vinegar Syndrome's release of Possession (1981). It's a bit pricey but it's absolutely worth it, one of my favorite movies of all time.
