10.19.20 | Keep going, each song gets progressively heavier. It’s supposed to give you the sensation of sinking further underwater. |

10.19.20 | imagine putting any killswitch engage album over the ocean |
joshb9864
10.19.20 | Killswitch is my favorite band, I’ve seen them multiple times and they are indeed pretty sick, in fact as I’m typing this I’m listening to them. |
joshb9864
10.19.20 | I don’t see the foo fighters comparison at all lol |

10.19.20 | Of what song? |
joshb9864
10.19.20 | That’s part of the concept that song is at the top of the sea, the music and lyrics get darker with each song to symbolize sinking further down. The first song is meant to the lightest and most peaceful of the whole album. |

10.19.20 | "imagine putting any killswitch engage album over the ocean"
killswitch engage is def better than the ocean lol |
Senetrix666
10.19.20 | say what you will about the ocean but at least they sound unique. killswitch are pure radio metal and have never put out a record above a 2.5 |
Senetrix666
10.19.20 | just spittin facts. a7x, killswitch and all those melodicore bands ruined metalcore. |
joshb9864
10.19.20 | You’re entitled to your opinion of course, but it’s the music that you connect with on an emotional level that impacts you the most. Killswitch has gotten me through some tough times and the music inspires me. I know some people think they’re too good to listen to Killswitch but damn they’ve made an impact on my life, and nothing you guys say can take that away from me. |
Senetrix666
10.19.20 | hey man listen to what you want. i dont think I'm "too good" for anything. i just hate melodicore. |
joshb9864
10.19.20 | Mid 2000s metalcore is my jam man, it’s my favorite metal genre and it’s the type of music I write. Killswitch, Trivium, Lamb of God, All That Remains, Parkway Drive and August Burns Red all have a massive influence on me |
joshb9864
10.19.20 | They’re alright, have some good songs |

10.19.20 | There's a couple of good ones here (Autopsy, The Ocean, Warbringer), but nothing approaching what I would list. Art is subjective. To each his own. I liked and still like Galneryus' "The Ironhearted Flag" (both volumes); Enshine's "Origin"; Kauan's "Pirut"; Leprous's "Coal"; Avatarium's debut; Caladan Brood's "Echoes of Battle"; Queensrÿche's come-back album; Hail of Bullet's "III - The Rommel Chronicles"; Saor's "Roots"; Ereb Altor's "Fire Meets Ice"; Thrawsunblat's "Wanderer on the Continent of Saplings"; Carcass' "Surgical Steel"; Voivod's "Target Earth", Ihsahn's "Das Seelenbrechen"; Týr's "Valkyrja"; Vallendusk's "Black Clouds Gathering"; Arx Atrata's "Oblivion"; "Fates Warning's "Darkness in a Different Light"; Cannibal Corpse's "Torturing and Eviscerating Live" |

10.19.20 | Oh yeah, and that Gorguts album "Colored Sands", an absolute milestone... |

10.19.20 | I’m not a fan of gorguts, I listened to it and found it uninteresting. That’s just me though. |
