My Top 5 Favorite Hardcore Records

The key word is favorite. I absolutely love bands like Converge, All Out War, Turmoil (probably more than anything on here except #1) etc. but they probably sit a little closer to metalcore than straight ahead hardcore.

Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire

The biggest hardcore band of all time for good reason. One of my favorite bands of all time and absolutely my gateway into hardcore. I love everything they've ever done but this is a hardcore masterpiece if theres a such thing.
2Buried Alive
The Death Of Your Perfect World

Pretty similar to #1 but still so awesome. A little more metallic than Terror which is probably why I like it slightly more than #3. So much love for this record.
3Terror
One With The Underdogs

Love pretty much all of Terror's stuff but this is the one that really got me into them. 31 mins is all they needed to get the point across.
4Madball
Set It Off

Who could possibly argue that Madball is not one of the hardest? And who could argue that this record is not also one of the hardest? I hope no one.
5Earth Crisis
Destroy the Machines

Not vegan, not straight edge, still love this album to death. Very few bands were as influential both sonically and ideologically.
