Rhapsody's Emerald Sword Saga RANKED (MM)
And the award for the cheesiest collection of albums in music history goes to...
But seriously now, I accually enjoy them quite a bit xD |
5 | | Rhapsody of Fire Legendary Tales
year: 1997
my rating: 3 / 5
favorite song: Warrior of Ice
Honestly, this album just din't grab me. A lot of the tracks feel to me as they are trying to be "epic", but don't succeed at it as much as songs on subsequent albums. However the album does contain some bangers, like Warrior of Ice and Land of Immortals, that reach the level of quality I've come to expect from Rhapsody. |
4 | | Rhapsody of Fire Rain of a Thousand Flames
year: 2000
my rating: 3.5 / 5
favorite song: can't tell yet
Just recently heard this album for the first time and dug it quite a bit...Only problem was some unnecessary spoken word commentary, but it didn't bother me as much. Might add or remove a half point after more listens. |
3 | | Rhapsody of Fire Symphony of Enchanted Lands
year: 1998
my rating: 4 / 5
favorite song: Emerald Sword
Not much to say here, just a good album. Personally I don't like the 13 minute "epic" on this album very much, it feels like at least 4 minutes could have been cut off. |
2 | | Rhapsody of Fire Power of the Dragonflame
year: 2002
my rating: 4.5 / 5
favorite song: Gargoyles, Angels of Darkness
The epic conclusion of the saga. Gargoyles it's the best song by the band, hands down. |
1 | | Rhapsody of Fire Dawn of Victory
year: 2000
my rating: 4.5 / 5
favorite song: Triumph for My Magic Steel
Probably the catchiest and most energetic record from the saga. Pretty controversial as a number 1 choice I guess. Keep in mind that it's really close with PotD. Also I heard it first so maybe I'm a little biased... |
