Sputnik Mafia: Trial Run

Tried to do this a few years back but wasn't sure how to integrate it on the forums / I lost interest / got busy / etc. But now we're doing it for real, 100%, no take-backs!

For those unfamiliar: Mafia is a party game played both in-person and in online forums. The basic premise is that the group of players are all a part of a town. Within that town are a few evil mafia members, whose identity is unknown to the normal townsfolk. The townsfolk attempt to vote out (kill) the mafia members while the mafia attempts to kill off the town; once they equal 50% of the remaining player count, they achieve victory. Gameplay follows two phases, day and night: the day phase is when players voice their suspicions, trying to find out who the mafia is, then voting on who they believe is guilty--all the while the mafia tries to blend in. During the night phase, the mafia decides who to kill, and any other power roles perform their actions. This day-night cycle continues until the aforementioned win conditions are reached.

For the purposes of this beginning run, I was looking to run an 11-player set-up with standard roles. The breakdown will be 3 Mafia, 1 Cop, 1 Doctor, and 6 regular townsfolk. Simple and straightforward. Day phases will last until a majority vote is reach--for a player or a 'no lynch'--unless it goes long enough to warrant a time limit. Night will last as long as power roles/mafia have yet to submit their actions.
