I've just never been a fan of the modern accessible stuff (DGD, sense fail, thursday, silverstein, etc). i like the abrasiveness nature of a lot of the albums on this list, also im really partial to noise rock (the first extreme core bands I really got into were big black and shellac). i dig some thrice tracks though, paper tigers being my fave probably. but if there's any recent PH bands that incorporate noise rock, send em my way!
TheSupernatural 04.23.19	Surprised Thursday gets lumped in the accessible category, their earlier stuff (first 3 albums) is pretty damn abrasive with wacky song structure. I'ma go throw some recs your way

TheSupernatural 04.23.19	My ratings are all over the place, about half of them are from 3+ years ago and my taste changed dramatically since then. I don't really like the DGD/Swancore subgenre but stuff like Thrice/Thursday/Glassjaw got me into the genre and were the first bands I fell in love with once I started listening to music outside of generic rock. Like I said, I've hardly heard anything on this list but I'm really eager to check some of it out. Loving The Jesus Lizard quite a bit right now
