Rock USA 2018

I went for all three days with my fiancé and two friends. Didn’t get to catch all the bands I wanted, but was still an overall fun experience. List is the bands I actually watched (except the bottom two)
1DevilDriver
The Last Kind Words

Awesome set, was surprised to see them on main stage though
2Sum 41
All Killer No Filler

Saw them at warped 2016 too. Their set itself was great, Deryck was stupidly energetic. Even threw in a couple fun Black Sabbath partial covers. The speakers cut out a few times though from anywhere between half a second and seven seconds. Was pretty annoying, but not the bands fault.
3Underoath
Erase Me

Fucking loved their set, even though it was pouring during it and the festival management made them end their set early due to lightning. In Regards to Myself was their best performance. Or Breathing in a New Mentality.
4The Black Dahlia Murder
Nocturnal

Played a sweet variety of tracks throughout their discog. May have been my favorite show of the weekend.
5Trivium
The Sin and the Sentence

Saw them when I was 11, but didn’t actually appreciate it, so I made sure I caught them here. Slayed as expected.
610 Years
(How to Live) As Ghosts

Saw them at Northern Invasion this year. Put on a fantastic show both times.
7Marilyn Manson
The Pale Emperor

Fuckers set got rained out. They called off the festival right before he was supposed to go on. Mind you, this is the same day They made Underoath stop playing and evacuated everyone. So they went through all of that, opened back up an hour later, and then close again 2 hours later, right before the two big acts were about to play.
8Rob Zombie
Hellbilly Deluxe

Same as above. I’m salty af. Would have been fun af to see them perform.
