Well for my 100th list I figured I'd finally share with you all some of the stuff I've been up to lately. I'm a film student at DePaul University and dream of being a big writer/director one day. Here are a few films I've cooked up in the last few months (well, the completed ones) that I've written and directed. Please critique the shit out of them.

Figured I'd start out with the one I'm most proud of. This was completed as the final project for our Production II class, which I was blessed to have an incredible group in. They helped flesh out my original concept as well as producing, shooting, and helping me write it. This one has already gotten into a fair amount of film fests (including one in Conneticut which I drove out to with my DP which was a highlight of my career so far) and got me nominated for Best Undergraduate Director and Best Writing between the four of us. But it's far from perfect and I want you to shit on it if you don't like it.

Alright so this one is pretty shit, it's basically the first thing I cooked up with a decently sized crew behind me and was basically just me trying to prove to myself that I could actually direct something. Still, I'm pretty happy with it, even if it's one of the weaker things I've done yet in college. Ironically, it also had the biggest crew of any of these films (about 10-15 people).

For a really long time I had a morbid fascination with the idea of making a short film that took place entirely within a public restroom, and when I pitched the idea to my Cinematography class group and they actually liked it, I was astounded. This was made before Wallet, but I still think it's better just because the story actually does something, even if it's a bit lame/predictable.

"Blood Scouts"
Directed a massive comedy-horror that I didn't write (which was a pain in the ass because the writer turned out to be a douchebag) which is turning out really good but is still in post-hell. Stuck in finishing sound/color right now, so it'll probably (hopefully) come out sometime next week. Three overnight shoots in a row, still can't believe I pulled it off. Hopefully it's good in the end.

Okay, for shits and giggles here's an example of some of the dumb shit I made before I went to college. Literally just me and my brother dicking around and making a sarcastic comedy/action/horror thing. Pretty cinematically terrible but to the right eye it might be pretty entertaining.
