ramon. 06.09.18	saw an advanced screening earlier this week, film kicks serious ass. derivative structurally but so entertaining. tension throughout was pretty damn on point.

goblinilbog 06.09.18	Saw Hereditary last night, it shook me up and spooked me hard for real. Brutal, truly unnerving horror. It Comes At Night is a great movie too.

Slex 06.10.18	Hereditary is some brutal fucking evil, definitely had me shook It's weird because on paper I'm disappointed with where the ending went but oh my god did they execute it stunningly well imo
brainmelter 06.10.18	yeah the ending isn't bad per se but I think some of it would have been better if we were able to make our own interpretations more idk. I'm pretty pleased as horror fan though, been thinking about it a lot. I adore the long shots in the movie
Slex 06.10.18	Yeah it's like as a horror fan the ending is spectacular imo but the rest of the movie is so much more than just a horror movie
Winesburgohio 06.10.18	i think it's perfect paced for the film it is -- not horror, exactly, but just something really harrowing and distressing that unveils like a convoluted russian doll until the exposition dump at the end, which should be comforting, ends up being as unsettling as the rest of the film. great movie basically can't wait to see it again tonight

ramon. 06.10.18	It’s amazing how even after the pole incident you just know the film isn’t planning on going any easier on the viewer. Also the cinematography can fuck off it’s so good at times. We need so much more of that sort of experimentation in horror.
Slex 06.10.18	Yeah it's insane to think that as devastating as the pole incident is in the grand scheme of things it's more the beginning where it would be this grand culmination in an easier movie
brainmelter 06.10.18	there are jump scares but the most effective scares were the ones that were in the background for a painfully long time, no rise in music. about time a filmmaker capitalized on anxiety and dread like this. movie isn't perfect but pretty great for a first feature film
