Trying to Get Into Music

Hello, I was referred to this website by a friend on reddit as a good way to talk to people in the music community. I consider myself a pretty well rounded person but I've just never been really "into" music. It sounds strange, and I guess it sort of is. But it isolated me from a lot of my friends because its such an unrelatable thing to feel. So about a year ago I went on an active quest to find music I enjoy, but everything just doesn't really give me any feeling of pleasure like most of my hobbies otherwise do. I made a Rate Your Music account a while back (advice from the same friend to sign up, I dont wanna share my account here but hint: its the same picture!) and through there I've found some popular albums. I notice I actually dislike some, and just feel nothing from others. To me this suggests that I'm close to finding my preference. I was wondering if anyone who felt the same at one point can offer me advice or perhaps give me some universally liked albums to listen to?
1Fleetwood Mac
Rumours

Didn't mind that much I don't see how this is preferable to actually doing something
2Metallica
Kill 'Em All

I was surprised, because I was warned that Metallica is for more experienced music listeners as its more unconventional, but I didn't really mind it. It just sort of made me feel strange, I wasn't getting anything from it and it gave off an angry presence.
3Radiohead
OK Computer

So this is my reddit friend's favorite album, and he told me to listen to it 5 times to really appreciate it. I disliked it more each time, I don't really understand its purpose and just felt grating. I felt bad telling him that it was (at the time) my least favorite music I've heard so far. This website doesn't let me rate it with a 1 but I was told that this is a feature for a lot of popular albums.
4Bob Dylan
Another Side of Bob Dylan

I actually couldn't finish this one. I'm not sure why, but it felt awkward and sort of like I was being talked down to.
5The Notorious B.I.G.
Ready to Die

Here is an album where I felt conflicted, which was the most interesting thing I've found through music. I guess you could say I enjoy it the most? But I still would prefer to not listen to it, I found it juvenile and tacky. Almost too sugary, and I think I only felt comfortable with it because I've been subjected to a lot of rap throughout my life, so it didn't feels as jarring as some of the albums I found through Reddit and Rate Your Music
