This Week's Classic Albums (3/4-3/11)
These are the classic albums I listed to in March 5th through March 11th. |
1 | | The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
I've listened to this already a few times growing up. Teeters toward an album rock feel but I still like it a lot. |
2 | | AC/DC Back In Black
Started playing this one every now and then as of like 2 years ago. I like it a lot more than I thought I would. |
3 | | Led Zeppelin Houses of the Holy
I've never listened to this album in full before. It's total album rock. I prefer song-oriented music, but every now and then if I get the time on my hands to listen to an album front-to-back I can appreciate it. I've heard lots of praise about this album but it's kind of "meh" to me. |
4 | | Green Day Dookie
Have already listened to this one a ton. It kind of jump started my music interest when I was in 7th grade or so. |
5 | | At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
Super spastic. Never listened to this band before this month. |
6 | | Metallica Master of Puppets
Really like this album. Lots of solid songs. I've listened to it in bits a few times since high school, but this was my first time listening to it in full. |
7 | | Between the Buried and Me Colors
I've listened to this album once in full before. It falls under the album rock category. I like the sound, but it's hard to wrap my head around. Not very accessible. |
8 | | Brand New The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
The Warped Tour scenesters love this band. They're like the Led Zeppelin of punk/emo, but I never really got that into them. I hadn't listed to this album in full before. It didn't grab me outright, but it interested me enough to consider going back to it again. |
9 | | The Beatles Revolver
I've never listened to this album in full before. I liked a lot though. I'll have to go back and listen to it again. |
