Evangelion explained in 5 albums

Disclaimer: I only watched the series but neither the end of evangelion nor the saga of movies that started a few years ago.
1Fear Factory
Digimortal

This is impressive, since the fusion of Shinji's mother soul with the Eva shows that in a not so distant future, we will probably assimilate ourselves with the robots thus becoming something superior. The series does not explain if that was the intention of Shinji's mother, but this event explained more or less why the Eva's are so relevant in the series and not simple robots like any other anime of the genre. The title tracks describe vaguely this concept.
2Tool
Lateralus

I hate to say it but the deep messages in the songs of this album goes hand in hand with Shinji in the series, He starts as a regular guy, but as the series progresses he starts to show he develops an existential anguish, just listen to the grudge and It will all make sense
3Soundgarden
Superunknown

Apparently the third impact was not a natural catastrophe, it was done as a kind of "final solution" for the humanity in order to improve our race, that's the point of songs like black hole sun and limo wreck doesn't it?
4Gojira
The Way of All Flesh

This album is clearly a criticism against the human being as a cruel and selfish creature, and the angels that are sent to destroy humanity is a consequence of how the society became irresponsible beings and not caring for their actions that were indeed destroying their own planet. Isn't impressive how accurate yama's messengers describes the angels?
5Meshuggah
Destroy Erase Improve

The title is self explanatory and it's the concept of SEELE's human instrumentality project, by destroying everything on earth and creating a new improved world, just see this line in terminal illusions: The pressure on humanity, Has risen beyond control We are leading evolution Into termination
