i dont know man, they cant handle a good villain properly yet, they need to earn that. they would have not done him justice because they were too focused cramming the new heroes into the film. im glad they used a throw-away villain and played it safe. |

11.26.17 | i agree that that would have been a more believable route to go and would have preferred it BUT the one good thing that came out of it was the whole tension between bruce and diana and her thinking he was just a drunk lunatic and that he wasn't listening to her reason and then u find out that he actually totally took what she was saying to heart and implemented it into his plan as a failsafe without telling anyone. just such a classic batman move to just be a fucking stubborn know-it-all dick but then like turn out to kind of show a tiny little bit of heart veiled beneath an exterior of stubborn know-it-all dickishness. |

11.26.17 | Depends on what you're into. I'm a comic book nerd, so we have our own special opinions on DC films. Movie critics don't read comics, nor do most mainstream audiences. They rate films based off of how they were AS A MOVIE. That's what separates their opinion from the rest. Movie critics base their opinion on how the movie pans out open to close. They don't care how much they stick to source material because its irrelevant to the matter. The same goes for TV shows. I don't value their opinion because I've read the comics and know what to expect. Whether or not it was a good movie is a different argument. I thought it was alright, but that's mostly because it was better than Suicide Squad. I'm struggling to understand why Grant Gustin can't be The Flash. |

If you have to deviate from source material to make a better movie, which is the media I'm coming to enjoy, then go for it imo. There's obviously a limit, but that's the balance you gotta hit. 11.27.17 | spider-man 3 is the only one that has been so comically bad that its made it actually kind of cult bad. spider-man 1 and 2 are also terrible but not quite bad enough to make for a very enjoyable hate-watch. definitely worse than the first amazing spiderman and amazing spiderman 2 was an absolute disaster and it was still more entertaining than homecoming. homecoming was a disney channel live action spider-man movie. its not horrible enough to be funny in any way though because there is nothing inherently wrong with Holland where Toby just has the dumbest face of all time and andrew... well lol yeah. he is a fine spiderman its just that everything else in the movie felt like passing a kidney stone. |
