Had a blast at Camp Flog Gnaw 2017

Super good times at Tyler's annual music fest! First time ever going to a festival and I ended up going solo but met a bunch of awesome people. Also had the pleasure of meeting the brilliant Kevin Abstract from Brockhampton. List is highlights of the 2 day fest.
1 Brockhampton
Saturation II

Never seen people so hyped before for such a new group which was awesome. The crowd was smushed in like sardines though so it got a little too crazy. All the non-rappers(?) in the group were on golf carts and the DJ was on a couch. They all had their badass jumpsuits and blue paint. 10/10
Highlight song: STAR is what had the best crowd participation but I love SWEET
2Vince Staples
Big Fish Theory

Long Beach rapper Vince Staples is another one of my favorite up and comers. He looked like a shadowy figure performing in front of a bright orange backdrop. Apparently the dude has asthma but he rapped a lot without running out of breath, and barely used any playback which is cool. 8/10
Highlight song: Blue Suede
3Denzel Curry
Imperial

Great visuals, great performance, love this dude's lyrics and flow. BARS BARS BARS. Was bummed he didn't play "Knotty Head" though. Also his set seemed way too short.
Highlight song(s): ULT, Gook
8/10
4ASAP Rocky
LONG.LIVE.A$AP

People went nuts which was not a surprise. He went over his set time which was a punk rock move. Great visuals and great song choices. Tyler got up and performed Who dat boy with ASAP and it sounded better than when Tyler played it the day before without ASAP.
8/10
Highlight song(s): LSD, Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye
5FIDLAR
Too

Love these guys so much. The first performance I caught. Crowd was hyped as hell, and these guys played right before Brockhampton.
8/10
Highlight song(s): West Coast, 40 OZ on Repeat
6Lana Del Rey
Born To Die

Wasnt a big fan but I like her now. Although I don't know which songs of hers are the best. She was so sweet to the crowd and only played songs they wanted to hear.
8/10
7Tyler, the Creator
Flower Boy

Can't not include Tyler in a list about his festival. Been jamming the shit out of Flower Boy since the summer and I'm glad he played a lot of new stuff. Although when he played Who Dat Boy without A$AP it wasn't the same.
8/10
Highlight song: Boredom
8Kid Cudi
Man on the Moon: The End of Day

Who doesn't love Scott? Loved his dope visuals and stage set up and honestly I just love this dude's vocals and how he is a "singing rapper". Shout out to King Chip for coming on stage. My only gripe is the ONLY song they did off Man on the Moon was "Pursuit"
9/10
Highlight song(s): Just What I Am, Baptized in Fire, Pursuit of Happiness
