neekafat
09.26.17 | Props for 20
Really considering just getting 21 for $40 cuz fuck it |
DarkSideOfLucca
09.26.17 | Yah 21 was expensive, surprisingly so was 26. That was also $40 but that doesn't come with any extra tracks, it was kind of ridiculous. |
DungeonBoy
09.26.17 | I wish I had 37 and 41 on vinyl. |
DarkSideOfLucca
09.26.17 | It's never too late ;) |
DungeonBoy
09.26.17 | That's true! but man, I gotta limit myself to 1 or 2 a month and this has been such a great year for music. |
foxblood
09.26.17 | 37 on vinyl sounds like it'd be great. |
DarkSideOfLucca
09.26.17 | It is :)
This is gonna sound lame but I actually don't listen to that record so much anymore - the lyrics are a bit...eesh lol |
DungeonBoy
09.26.17 | I totally agree man.. but they got so much worse on every album after. |
DarkSideOfLucca
09.26.17 | Very true dude |
DominionMM1
09.26.17 | please refrain from pluralizing the word vinyl |
DarkSideOfLucca
09.26.17 | but i have more than one vinyls |
jagride
09.26.17 | r e c o r d s |
Thalassic
09.26.17 | Uhm...probably not "true metal" but 3, 6 and 7 are brought into connection with the genre enough that makes it weird for me to include them in a "non metal" list |
DarkSideOfLucca
09.27.17 | True, I also included them in my metal list. For some of these the lines were pretty blurred. |
neekafat
09.27.17 | That's kinda crazy dude, I don't think I've ever spent more than $25 on a vinyl and that was a brand new Skeleton Tree |
DarkSideOfLucca
09.27.17 | Yah, I don't know why those Smashing Pumpkins ones were so fucking expensive.
And I've spent a pretty crazy amount of money on some super limited/special edition, double or triple vinyls before aha
Used to spend most of my money on comic books, now its records. |
Thalassic
09.27.17 | "True, I also included them in my metal list. For some of these the lines were pretty blurred."
Yeah a lot of those harder/heavier alternative bands like Alice In Chains, Deftones, Tool, Melvins, Kyuss...they kinda operate in a grey area where it's difficult to say whether they're metal or aren't (and at their heaviest they also feel too heavy to be just called "rock"). Personally, the albums I own by those bands I just have them grouped in my metal collection |

CygnusX1
09.27.17 | Nice collection! After CDs I thought I wouldn't spend any money on music because it was all going digital. Then I started collecting records. How foolish I was... |
DarkSideOfLucca
09.27.17 | Thanks, man! Aha, and yeah dude same exact thing happened to me. I had a few good years of downloading everything and not spending money on music but they sucked me back in |
wham49
09.27.17 | good stuff man, hope most are original period releases |
