Ten outstanding bands I found
Hello there, today I want to show you some spectacular bands I found on Metal Amino, Youtube etc. I like exploring for more bands, especially the weird ones. If you're a bit like me you'll understand the joy of finding artist who are bending the strings of ther genres
and take elements from other music genres to perform an excellent example of unique creations. These walls of sounds are made for people like you and me. We are the avengers. Jokes aside, we will listen together to these artists and I think these are bands for many kinds of tastes. |
1 | Concrete
From Tønsberg, Vestfold comes this group which could be described as a mixture of Behemoth, Meshuggah with a slight of Lamb of god. When you first think about it, it sounds kind of unnatural but believe me. Everything fits and the elements of all of these three acts always should be combined like in this song. |
2 | Antarktis
Eventhough I've searched them on metal archives I wasn't able to find them. They must be very new and I think this band will get a huge following very soon. |
3 | Leper
You can't categorize them simply in one genre because they have elements of all of these four. What personally stands out are the chill ska guitar parts which give them also a strange happy side. It may not be the dark side of the moon but it is still done well. |
4 | Necrolatry
In my latest blog I wrote about a band with the same name but these guys play melodic death metal which seems sometimes very experimental. For fans of Kataklysm, Children of Bodom, Centinex and co. they might be a little gem. But honestly you either will love them or you just can't cant into them. |
5 | Virvum
Thanks to a poll of a metal amino user I got into them and boys and girls, you won't regret listening to them. You need to listen to them multiple times because you might be overwhelmed by all these notes which are played at the same time. |
6 | Imperium Dekadenz
Season of Mist really knows which bands deserve to be signed and Imperium Dekadenz really deserved it. Thanks to Spotify I got into them and I was definetely liking what I was listening to. If you haven't heared of them listen to the song Dis Manibvs and if you know them listen to them again. |
7 | Gratzug
Another group from my country which sings about medieval themes, mysticism, fantasy & philosophy. I found them on youtube and I'm glad I did. Since 2012 they've released five albums. |
8 | Birth Ritual
Birth Ritual may be the newest answer to Sabbat and I like both of them. The members are from Sapporo, Hokkaido. Did you know Fenriz let a song by them play on his radio station? |
9 | The last successor
Epic bands like The last successor are always great to have a little more adventerous music in my playlists. Everything about them is great and even though they are not very famous they might be even better than some bands we all know of this subgenre of metal. |
10 | Acherozu
'Uncrowned King' is their only studio album and it was released in 2015. It seems not a lot know about them even though their guitar players do their job very well. |
