Masterpieces of cinema (1900-1940)

Just saw "The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari" for a project in development in my college and this movie chocked me by the atmosphere and obscure narrative mixed up with the expressionism movement in Germany. This also made me think in some really good movies from the beggining of cinema. What's your favorite movies from that period? Let's talk about it folks.
