04.10.17 | btw these albums are acclaimed in some cases and popular at others, but still more people need to peep these if they haven't |

04.10.17 | i have respect that niggas that can do it...but i can only listen to music while eating breakfast after a morning toke and while i drive to work. then at night there's too much political bs going on in the news that I can't sit back and put on a dope album. and my wife aint a stoner and doesn't wanna spend our weekend free time tokin'. got a baby girl too. bittersweet grown up shit |
ScuroFantasma
04.10.17 | CDs are my main thing, then bandcamp second and occasionally iTunes. Always full albums pretty much every single time. I hate not finishing an album off or skipping around, I like albuks to be a full experience and I want to appreciate the full "story". I get quite a lot of time to do that though as an online uni student. |
henryChinaski
04.10.17 | spotify |
Demon of the Fall
04.10.17 | Definitely full albums whenever possible, either on my iPod or via CD. I just listen online to get an idea if I'll enjoy something before potentially buying it. |
anarchistfish
04.10.17 | Used to pirate onto my ipod until my ipod broke like a year ago. Then I started using apple music but I switched to Spotify like 2 weeks ago.
Def feel you about listening to albums in one go. Unless the album's really good I get bored. |
Spluger
04.10.17 | Spotify/Youtube/blogs/bandcamp. If I really dig an album then I'll buy it on vinyl. |
Divaman
04.10.17 | CDs, mostly from Amazon or CD Baby, which I download onto my iPod. I usually listen to whole albums. I listen to CDs in the car, iPod everywhere else. Just started using Spotify for brand new stuff. |
TwigTW
04.10.17 | Spotify, Bandcamp, YouTube, musicmp3.ru, in that order--always full albums |
evilford
04.11.17 | church |
Maco097

hasan
04.11.17 | i buy some cds at the store |
Kompys2000
04.11.17 | As far as where I find new music, I trawl bandcamp every few months for anything that looks interesting, use Spotify to listen to stuff people rec me on sput or well-known bands I haven't listened to yet, and also pick up random shit from thrift stores a lot. As for albums vs. songs, I usually listen to an album front-to-back once or twice at first, then just put my favorite couple songs on my iPod and mostly listen to those after that. |
UndineParty
04.11.17 | i steal all of it from Sach
especially the j-pop |
Dewinged
04.11.17 | I get it all in Apple Music, if I really dig smth I try to find it on vinyl. Listen to 4 or 5 albums a day on average. Can't shuffle songs. |
CaimanJesus
04.11.17 | Cds, Spotify, youtube |
Agonba
04.11.17 | CDs from store or concerts. And spotify. I listen to the full album without skipping or repeating. |
Avagantamos
04.11.17 | usually check it out on youtube then hit up soulseek if I dig it |
Davil667
04.11.17 | I (pretty much) always try to get a hard copy (preferably vinyl) when I'm interested in an album. Even if it takes damn long to find em in some cases... I totally dig searching and even waiting for albums I'm looking forward to hearing, it immensely builds up the excitement and listening experience for me. |
p4p
04.11.17 | mixtape |
MeatSalad
04.11.17 | soulseek, sometimes I buy digitally on bandcamp if I can't find something on soulseek, otherwise I order cd's online and pick up (usually) used vinyl from small shops in the city |
709baj
04.11.17 | 90% of my music comes from Goodwill CDs lol. I almost always listen to albums all the way through. |
AsleepInTheBack
04.11.17 | mainly listen by streaming, but get my favourites on vinyl. near exclusively listen to albums in one go rather than individual tracks |
NorthernSkylark
04.11.17 | CD's and Lp's for stuff I love, and Spotify for new albums. I always listen to the full album, don't like skipping songs. |
EphemeralEternity
04.11.17 | rym/sputnik(discovery)--> youtube(pre-screening)-->soulseek-->itunes |
Demon of the Fall
04.11.17 | What's Soulseek... is it just another streaming service like Spotify? Wondered what the advantages were. |
Tunaboy45
04.11.17 | For stuff I'm checking out, youtube or bandcamp
then I'll usually pick it up on CD. I feel like you value music more when you purchase it, you gain a deeper respect for it. Maybe that's just me. |
Demon of the Fall
04.11.17 | Very true Tunaboy - definitely feel the same. I only have a little casual listen first to make sure it's something I could get into. CDs aren't expensive so I just buy it after that once it passes the test (or it at least goes on "the list" of future purchases). |
Davil667
04.11.17 | "I feel like you value music more when you purchase it, you gain a deeper respect for it. Maybe that's just me. "
It's certainly not only you bro, I need to own my music in order to enjoy it to the fullest. Streaming bores the fck out of me... |
rabidfish
04.11.17 | a little fire sprite whispers band names on my year when I go to bed. It also sings about the end of all life and the coming of a new age of impossible cosmic horrors. |
EphemeralEternity
04.11.17 | I literally couldn't finance my music intake but i'll make an effort to purchase merch/attend concerts for the artists I love. digital files are also so much more convenient, but I understand what you mean by a tangible CD having more value. |
