Lars von trier Vs. Nicolas winding refn

Being a dane myself and a fan of original and experimental cinema, I'm curious to know what people think of these two divisive directors. Personally I can see the genius in both but at the same time they piss me off in equal measures. I'll try and rank the ones that I've made it through and would really appreciate if anyone could explain to me what they see in them good or bad. Not all are ranked cos I'm drunk and haven't seen them all.
1David Bowie
Blackstar

Pusher- I love this film, it's such a low budget classic but has tons of backstreet personalily to spare, my Introduction to Mads Mikkelson. So raw and gritty you can smell the streets of Cph.
2Squarepusher
Square Window

The Idiots- this film pushed so many boundaries and would have pissed off alot of people if it got more coverage at the time of its release, it's a pure piss take of the upper/middle class and it makes for un comfortable but compelling viewing,
3Queens of the Stone Age
Era Vulgaris

Pusher 2- Refn dialed down the stylish bravado on this for a much more realistic look on the characters from the first, also providing tons of depth and humanity. And it's hits hard.
4Oasis
Be Here Now

Drive- hated this when it came out and not because I was expecting the fast and the furious like 50% of Americans but I seen style with little to back it up, repeated viewings have made me come to my senses thankfully. It's the soundtrack...it get me everytime!
5Weezer
Maladroit

Antichrist- this film divided more that any other film in respect to how extreme the polar opinions were, it was either the worst shite to grace cinema or a complete work of genius. I loved it and despised it in equal measures so bravo for that lars.
6Cancer Bats
Hail Destroyer

Valhalla rising - the most raw and brutal film and I always liked it but as with many of his works does it have that much substance? Yes it does but you could argue that with a non believer all day.
7Carpathian Forest
Fuck You All!!!!

Pusher 3 - A let down compared to the other 2, it's the godfather 3 to the other 1 and 2. Never the less it has it moments and milo was always an interesting character.
8DevilDriver
The Fury of Our Maker's Hand

Bleeder- Winding refns first feature and it's a low budget gem that shows signs of the brilliance he would display.
9Amen
We Have Come for Your Parents

Nymphomaniac- Lars really had a chip on his shoulder with this one (when does he not) but I felt like he had to make it to help himself and what's left is almost self parody, and I don't want to listen Aleksander skarsgard compare a young sluts adventures to fly fishing
10The Beatles
Revolver

Only God forgives- absolutely gorgeous movie but I feel like refn is taking the piss now, you film buffs can argue over what he means with every reference but I think he is just taking the piss out of us, bloody nice film tho
11God Forbid
IV: Constitution of Treason

Melancholia- seriously tried to watch this many times and don't really get it, and I mean I've heard the explanations but sorry I thought it was crap.
12Every Time I Die
Hot Damn!

The neon demon- This was my last chance on Refn to see if he could pull some thing out of the bag, and it was only God forgives with models. I get that he is trying to make movies in a different way, but they are paintings and I'm not an art person so I don't go to see a film to witness gorgeous shots.
