I found this blog that gives a more complete list of musicians, well-known and not-so-well-known who died in 2016. (It's a little overwhelming). Thank you, MrSirLordGentleman for creating this list.

Unfortunately, we're at a point where all of the great artists of the '60s and '70s are up there in age, and even a lot of the '80s artists are getting pretty long in the tooth. All we can do is be grateful for the work that they've left us.

Jethro42 12.15.16	Another one passed away this week-end. Christian Simard, founder, singer, and keyboardist of an important progressive rock band here in Quebec called Morse Code. They are rather unknown here on Sputnik, but they had their glorious days in the 70's. ''La Marche Des Hommes'' is one of their classic albums. For those who dig Genesis.
