Bumbershoot + First Music Festival

Thank god for this. It's been a really shitty month so I'm excited for this because well, I'm actually moving on from the bullshit I just dealt with and things are going smoothly now. Fresh from being front and center literally at the Future Now show in Seattle with Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas on August 21st, I have a lot going on in around the next two weeks! Starting September 2nd, and running until the 4th is Bumbershoot, which is undoubtedly the biggest music festival in the Pacific Northwest. Labor Day Weekend at the Seattle Center, right where the Space Needle is. List below consists of the artists that I'm seeing, if you guys wanna see the rest of the lineup, I'll put the link at the end of the list. Let me know who else I should see, even though I got my custom schedule made anyway, but tell me and I'll definitely look into it!
1Logic
Bobby Tarantino

(Logic)
Definitely one of the key reasons I've decided to invest $180 for Bumbershoot this year in its entirety. Saw him in February, even dived into an exclusive SOUNDCHECK/Q&A/meet and greet with the Maryland rapper and it was a fantastic honor. He's really down-to-earth and humble, even despite the fact he's ascended himself towards being one of rap's big mainstays. Loved his Seattle show for the Incredible World Tour down at the Showbox SoDo, it was flooded with energy and it was overly grandiose so I expect more of the same from his set at the KeyArena on the last day of this festival! (9/4, 8:25-9:40pm)
2YG
Still Brazy

(YG)
Originally this was gonna be DJ Snake, but he pulled out due to personal circumstances. While it sucks that I won't get to hear Sahara or the rest of his debut album Encore live, this is actually a really fantastic replacement act. Especially because of the idea of hearing Fuck Donald Trump being performed live is gonna be a sight to see, especially with the crowd's reaction as they're chanting to his three-word hook. That's gonna be fun to watch before Logic takes the stage after YG takes over the Key. (9/4, 7:05-8:05pm)
3Maren Morris
Hero

(Maren Morris)
This is definitely one of the hardest selections I'm being dealt with currently for this festival. While YG is highly enticing and absolutely critical for me to still secure a fantastic spot for Logic, I've been excited about Maren Morris literally all-summer long. Ever since she released Hero, her debut album, that's been my road-trip album wherever I went across the state, especially with songs like Sugar and 80s Mercedes. This was a game-changer for me, considering I disliked country for the longest time so she really turned a blind eye for me with this debut. I'm so conflicted because she performs from 7-7:40pm at the Starbucks Stage and obviously it counters YG, so if anyone wants me to take her over YG, be my guess. (9/4, 7-7:40pm)
4G-Eazy
When It's Dark Out

(G-Eazy)
Another main attraction that grabbed my attention for Bumbershoot. I missed out when he came here in January, along with the fact I had plans to meet him in Connecticut for the Endless Summer Tour but that didn't obviously come to fruition. That seems like it's gonna change for this festival however! I loved his latest album when I reviewed and listened to it, especially with dark bangers like Random and What If, those songs I'm absolutely looking forward to seeing being performed live! It's definitely worth it for me at least, and a hell of a way to finish off my stay at the main venue for this entire festival. (9/4, 5:50-6:50pm, Main Stage)
5Kygo
Cloud Nine

(Kygo)
What a way to finish out the first day of the festival with this European producer/DJ on set at the Main Stage! Fiction and Happy Birthday will definitely be highlights for me to hear on stage, it's my first EDM set and I'm really looking forward to it but I'm assuming it's not as fun being in the front row because of the pompous visuals and lighting spewing in front of me, probably a lot more enjoyable a bit further away I bet! (9/3, 9:50-10:50pm)
6Anderson .Paak
Malibu

(Anderson .Paak)
One of the only acts that I get the pleasure of seeing front and center for Main Stage Saturday! Basically on the second day of the festival as I've been planning it, I've decided I'm not gonna leave the Main Stage at all and immerse myself to all the acts that are gonna be performing there during the day, and believe me there's a ton of them! This R&B/rap sensation is just one of them! Malibu and Venice are two of my favorite summer albums to jam to and I'm excited especially to see The Dreamer and Am I Wrong get jammed to on stage! (9/3, 6-6:50pm)
7Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
This Unruly Mess I've Made

(Macklemore & Ryan Lewis)
Not surprised that he caps off Day 2 of this festival, and my personal Main Stage Saturday in the process! Two hours with two of arguably the biggest music artists to ever originate from Seattle, how else can you picture it? Aside from the per usual Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us to be likely performed, I'm hoping to see St. Ides, Dance Off, and White Privilege II get performed off their latest album. Especially WP II! If they're allowed to perform it, that is. I mean, if you're gonna let YG perform an anti-Trump song on stage, might as well let Macklemore vent his political feelings out too in the process. (9/3, 8:50-10:50pm)
8Flatbush Zombies
3001: A Laced Odyssey

(Flatbush Zombies)
Seen a lot of hype from these guys over their latest record, and I'm just excited for the fact that they're apart of the mainly-rap studded Main Stage Saturday that I'm grateful to be apart of! (9/3, 4:50-5:30pm)
9Run the Jewels
Run the Jewels 2

(Run The Jewels)
Loved their appearance on DJ Shadow's new album earlier in the summer, and I've loved their last two projects. The fact they're performing right after Anderson .Paak is literally a fantastic transition for Main Stage Saturday! (9/3, 7:20-8:20pm)
10Fetty Wap
Fetty Wap

(Fetty Wap)
Unfortunately he's the only artist in this entire festival that I'm gonna have cut his set short with, because I definitely don't wanna miss out on the Halsey/Kygo sets at the main stage but I'm looking forward to seeing Trap Queen, and hopefully perform his verse from "All In My Head (Flex)" with Fifth Harmony if he does it! (9/2, 7:35-8:20pm, KeyArena)
11Tyler, the Creator
Wolf

(Tyler, The Creator)
My brothers choice, honestly couldn't care less about seeing him live but gotta please someone's music appetite. http://bumbershoot.com (9/2, 5:25-6:15pm, Main Stage)
12Melanie Martinez
Crybaby
