10.26.15 | If you're in to the heavier stuff, Temples is the only fest worth bothering with. UKTF is a good bet if you're in to djent/prog metal/etc. Supernormal and Carefully Planned Festival for something a little different and ATP is essential if you have a beard. |

10.26.15 | Also, Download is dogshit. |
Archelirion
10.26.15 | Temples [2] = best hardcore event in the country by a decent way
Also, I've never been but the lineup for ArcTanGent always looks fantastic, good mix of hardcore, metal and post-rock |
MattTD
10.26.15 | Hevy Fest usually has a decent line-up, lot of hxc kinda stuff so if you're into that then it's definitely worth a shout |
Sinternet
10.26.15 | reading/leeds usually has some good stuff once you strip away the headliners. |
afoolonahill
10.26.15 | Green man fest in Brecon is always good for indie stuff and folk. slowdive played (and killed it) this summer actually |
DanielNightLewis
10.26.15 | How did I forget about Arc Tan Gent? 2000 Trees is good too.
Hevy has sort of lost its way to me, a couple of big bands and the odd reunion but mostly filled up by mediocre UK managementcore bands. |
zakalwe
10.26.15 | Festivals used to be the best but there corporate endorsed, bellend strewn wastelands of bullshit where credit card wielding daddys girls scream at some redundant headliner whilst filming it all on their I-pad.
Fuck 'em. |

10.26.15 | it's been like that pretty much forever. |

10.26.15 | Reading/Leeds is fantastic despite what every hipster will try tell you to make their taste look less mainstream |
zakalwe
10.26.15 | There was still a spirit which has been sapped away as a result of Mumford and Sons getting us all to clap and sing along while we eat our tofu paprika cobblers like the hapless cunts we are |
Archelirion
10.26.15 | zak giving a concise, accurate insight into everything wrong with the UK festival business nowadays |
oisincoleman64
10.26.15 | Ooh yeah forgot about Mumford & Sons headlining this year. Maybe it's going downhill |
Mort.
10.26.15 | hevy fest or arctangest are best |
Sinternet
10.27.15 | I just looked at green man fest and holy shit that looks so fucking good I have to go next year |
zakalwe
10.27.15 | Read it and weep fannies, who incidentally played the Sunday.

10.27.15 | aww yeah thats pretty dope |
zakalwe
10.27.15 | A bloke I know went to it. Said it was fucking amazing from what he can remember. I was too young but I remember reading about it. |
Archelirion
10.27.15 | Woah. What has happened to Reading? |
StrangerofSorts
10.27.15 | People have been saying that for about a decade |

10.27.15 | Reading was great...15 years ago
Went every year from around 1999 to 2003 and a couple of other times around that. Used to be affordable and a good mix of bands, you'd get a mix of ages there. Now the lineup is strictly for young teens tbh |
Adabelle
10.27.15 | I've not been but Damnation festival had Bolt Thrower headline it last year so it has to be alright at least |
