UnderTheNorthernScar 07.18.15	@Flugmorph yeah they are more "evil" but when it comes to evil lyrics I think they are about neck and neck in most ways. except the one major difference is that with some death metal it is almost darkly humorous, whereas with black metal it is almost always genuine

UnderTheNorthernScar 07.21.15	@OvDeath yeah now I see what you are saying, we are on the same page now man. and I need to check out Deathspell Omega, have needed to for a long ass time now in fact. I think death metal has a bad rep from bands like Cannibal corpse for being over the top, but black metal in a lot of ways is just as over the top. And never listened to venom before to be completely honest.
