Feather
06.24.15 | Please give me ideas of more bands to add. |
argonaut
06.24.15 | Amon Amarth is the most obvious example that comes to mind, great band though. |
DominionMM1
06.24.15 | ac/dc has been accused of such |
gagnonov
06.24.15 | AC/DC, Iron Maiden |
Feather
06.24.15 | I could see ac/dc being accused of that.
@argonaut I am not familiar with Amon Amarth, but im shocked I havnt heard the name before seeing how many votes each album has.. its just not my style at all. |
Gameofmetal
06.24.15 | I might have said 1 was true a few albums back but I think they expand a lot with each release now
3 is mostly true, but I think What Separates Me From You puts a hole in the constancy.
5 idk, the first three albums were the same thing, but with zombie and on they had a new sound
6 is pretty much true, but they're all incredible albums anyway |
Funeralopolis
06.24.15 | 1 isn't true at all though |
apokolypz
06.24.15 | I mean...kind of foo fighters?
Bob Dylan but not really in a bad way.
Hot Chip
|
Royl123
06.24.15 | Nickleback |
Supercoolguy64
06.24.15 | the vines
i dig them, but holy shit ever since 2006 their albums just felt like shiity xeroxed copies of each other, the one from last year was pretty good tho |
FlyheadMetal
06.24.15 | 1 is so false |
Beardog
06.24.15 | Three Days Grace, Red, Sylosis, Rise Against, Meshuggah, Every Time I Die and Enslaved IMO |
DangerBatty
06.24.15 | Idk about abr man just seems wrong man they've changed man maybe you've changed too man you used to be cool man |
FlyheadMetal
06.24.15 | and where the hell is AC/DC |
CalculatingInfinity
06.24.15 | Did you honestly just say Meshuggah? How dense are you? |
Beardog
06.24.15 | @FlyheadMetal I think 1 is kinda true, R&R and FIFAP are basically the same with small differences |
Tunaboy45
06.24.15 | Amon Amarth and AC/DC
both great bands, just don't do anything new |
altertide0
06.24.15 | Deftones, The Band, Thom Yorke, Blackfield, Bruce Springsteen (kinda), Explosions in the Sky, RENAISSANCE!!, Sigur Rós |
Feather
06.24.15 | theres a lot of butthurt about abr going around. People must like their new album.. no surprise considering it is the same thing they have been doing |
Feather
06.24.15 | @gameofmetal I thought homesick, what separates and cc all sound like the same album? how does what separates put a hole in it?
Also I feel like the zombie ep and on, tdwp has sounded the same every release. Like they hit a new rut with that ep. |
Artuma
06.24.15 | 8 have kept their signature sound throughout their discog but they definitely haven't made the same album twice |
Archelirion
06.24.15 | Disturbed, definitely. |
Feather
06.24.15 | @Artuma, agreed. That was a huge stretch. |
Flugmorph
06.24.15 | motorhead. they can pull it off |
RadicalEd
06.24.15 | Explosions in the Sky are one of the worst offenders in that regard. AC/DC as well.
|
dbizzles
06.24.15 | 4 Year Strong |
Strider
06.24.15 | Memphis May Fire (Since their 2nd ep) and Pierce The Veil (The songs are getting better, but they're not straying far from the sound they started off doing). To an extent, I agree with 1, as well as 2, though the music is still great |
TwigTW
06.24.15 | Boston--first three albums--maybe all of them. |
Eggvander
06.24.15 | A Wilhelm Scream are pretty much in that category, but somehow they manage to always kill it. |
Snake.
06.24.15 | breaking benjamin hard |
porcupinetheater
06.24.15 | Dropkick Murphys. Not that I have any problem with that. |
BeneaththeDarkOcean
06.24.15 | You need Amaranthe. I love that band dearly, but they do tend to make very similar stuff between albums. |
oisincoleman64
06.24.15 | Passenger hard... Like really hard... Like if they were released backwards there would be no questions |
MrSirLordGentleman
06.24.15 | AC/DC and KISS |
porcupinetheater
06.25.15 | Ozric Tentacles. Same album, different decades. |
Insurrection
06.25.15 | As I lay dying |
RadicalEd
06.25.15 | Ozric tentacles? Just no. Not even close. |
deadcrown
06.25.15 | most stoner rock bands |
TheSupernatural
06.25.15 | Seems kinda like a hate list, but regardless, AC/DC belongs more than anything |
