09.20.14 | I'd put 6 higher and 8 lower, but I'd say this is a fairly reasonable ranking. |

09.20.14 | i would switch 1 and 2 personally, but this is a ranking i can dig |

09.21.14 | good to see 8 at a decent place. its actually decent. the only thing that brought it down was the nightmarish production. |

09.21.14 | British steel 12 holy fuck how retarded can you be to put British steel 12 |
Snowdog808
09.22.14 | It is average, and I was seriously disappointed in how simple and lyrically underwhelming it was considering it was only two years apart from Stained Class and so beloved. The drumming is also extremely watered down and Halford has better vocal performances before and after it. |

09.22.14 | British Steel is top 5 for me but it's all good. |

09.22.14 | British Steel really isn't that exciting to me. "Breaking the Law" and "Rapid Fire" are fun but the album as a whole is pretty boring from a composition standpoint. the lyrics are full of anti-establishment gibberish and songs like "Grinder" and "United" have so little momentum in their stunted riffs that they're almost unbearable. sure, it was great as a blueprint on how to get metal music on the radio, but unto itself I find British Steel to be a choppy listen at best. watered-down drumming and boring song structures compared to their previous material don't help a bit either. 3.2. |

09.22.14 | I'm gonna get flamed for that but w/e. list is pretty good but I'd drop Sin after Sin a little and Redeemer a lot. |

09.22.14 | agreed redeemer of souls much more exciting and better instrumentally than british steel 10/10 opinion |

09.22.14 | referring to my comment? I gave Redeemer a sympathetic 2.5. |

09.22.14 | how can you say GRINDER LOOKING FOR MEAT is boring but then still dig SFV and Defenders |
pedro70512
09.22.14 | I didn't like the second half of Vengeance either...Halford's vocals on "Pain and Pleasure" are
off-pitch as much as they're on, while "Fever" and "Take These Chains" are way too Def Leppard with
their mid-paced struts and vaguely romantic lyrics that don't fit at all with hyperkinetic songs
like "Electric Eye" and "Riding on the Wind" on an album called Screaming for Vengeance. |

09.22.14 | I really hate to bash Priest because they're one of my favorite bands, but those two albums in particular just never grabbed me no matter how much I've heard them. which is a lot. |
