Superb Digs 4
here are the rest of my 4.5's. I may continue the series as I discover more music I deem 4.5 + worthy |
1 | | Spectral Lore III
this year has been fantastic for black metal, but this is the first one I feel comfortable slapping a 4.5 on. Much like the review by CometoDaddy says, it has pretty much everything you could ask for in bm. Don't miss this one! |
2 | | The Offspring Smash
obviously the best offspring. pretty much a classic |
3 | | The Smith Street Band No One Gets Lost Anymore
my personal favorite by the smith street band which contains some of the best lyrics you'll find in the genre |
4 | | The Story So Far Under Soil and Dirt
read my review if you want to know why i like this one so much, although it might be outdated at this point |
5 | | The Used The Used
also wrote a review for this one a while back. Don't care for their last few albums but this is a killer debut |
6 | | The Who Tommy
shout out to KILL for reminding me to check this album out. such a great concept album |
7 | | The Wonder Years The Greatest Generation
because it gets me every time. I'M SORRY I DON'T LAUGH AT THE RIGHT TIMES. |
8 | | Tourniquet Psycho Surgery
thrashes hard m/ |
9 | | Toxik Think This
thrashes even harder m/ |
10 | | Van Morrison Astral Weeks
excellent album that took me some time to appreciate, but now I see what's so special about it. Shout out to manosg for getting me into them |
11 | | Walknut Graveforests and their Shadows
Definitely one of my very favorite bm albums. Similar to Burzum but unique enough to stand out on its own |
12 | | Zuriaake Afterimage of Autumn
really great Chinese bm that is sadly overlooked around here |
