| My Top 3 Most Disappointing Albums of all-time | 1 | | Def Leppard Hysteria
Ouch.... I'd hate to try to listen to what they did after this as a hard rock and metal fan.
"When you make love, who do you think of. Does he look like me"
WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! Extremely hard to listen to, especially with the overemphasis on the vocals, which are lame and far too loud in the mix.
If you really look for it though, you might be able to hear the last good riffs the band ever made, especially on "Women." | 2 | | Metallica Load
What?!?! | 3 | | Judas Priest Turbo
Just really hard to listen to, especially the lyrics, and Rob Halford is an excellent singer. Overly commercialized (and a failed attempt at that in terms of sales and airplay,) but Judas Priest is still Judas Priest. | |

06.24.14 | I don't know about all time. Hysteria has Pour Some Sugar on Me so I dig. 2 is a genuine bummer, and Turbo is pretty bad too, though Point Of Entry already showed Priest could sell out if they wanted to. | BMDrummer
06.24.14 | 1 is so fucking bad, I have no idea why it holds a classic status. | ARealDeadOne
06.24.14 | Obviously this is just my personal opinion, not based on fact. "Pour Some Sugar On Me" is another song that I find really hard to listen to, probably my least-favourite song on the album not named "Armageddon It," "Hysteria," or, "Excitable,", "Love and Affection," or "Love Bites." "Women" always sounded like it was almost from an in-between album between Pyromania and Hysteria to me.
Vocally and in the guitarless sections it's more like Hysteria, but especially later on it gets more of a (cheesy) bite. Even the vocals I can see why it wasn't a radio hit, it was too good :P And that freaking riff...
True, for me Point of Entry is an even worse album, but Turbo could have been so good with the synth guitars... | Trebor.
06.25.14 | def leppard is terrible wat's new | Ryus
06.25.14 | def leppard just suck in general | BMDrummer

06.25.14 | ^hahahaha | BlackLlama
06.25.14 | I can agree with parts of one. I remember owning it on cassette and Side A was fucking great. Side B..... well. | Skull917
06.25.14 | There are 3 things I'm really glad are dead: doo-wop, disco and glam rock | MrSirLordGentleman
06.25.14 | "disco and glam rock"
Fuck you | ARealDeadOne
06.25.14 | I wish death metal was dead too. After early Venom :P
Oh...and rap and hip hop. | Thibs
06.25.14 | fucking joe dirt, yes | BlackLlama
06.25.14 | "doo-wop, disco and glam rock"
I can only agree with disco. Doo Wop was great and I probably have more glam/sleaze albums than you have ever seen :D | ARealDeadOne
06.26.14 | @Ryus Their first 3 albums are amazing. Seriously, if all you know of Def Leppard is Hysteria or Adrenalize, then High N' Dry will absolutely blow your mind. Don't listen to anything past Pyromania and parts of Hysteria, the band completed their sound change and turned into a borderline boy band (knock it off with the constant, unavoidable, every song, group choruses already) and pop group. | SharkTooth
09.24.14 | "doo-wop, disco and glam rock"
80's arena rock was a million times worse than any of those three genres | PattBraderson
09.24.14 | 1 & 3 predate my birth so they're just shit albums to me. Load was frok my childhood so couldn't really have expectations for it but it's weak in comparison in hindsight. In my lifetime I've been most disapointed by Protest the Hero - Scurrilous, Down - IV, and TFOT - In the Unlikely Event |
