Bands I Should Enjoy More Than I Actually Do.

As a music fan, there are certain genre's that I love, and one would think that these bands would be among my all time favorites. For some reason or other, I just could not really get into them.
1Converge

I love a lot of harcore and metalcore, and can firmly say that Converge is a ground-breaker in that genre. I however, can only tolerate listening to them every once in a while. Not sure why, I've spent plenty of time with their discog. The mass appeal for their work simply eludes me. If I am going to jam an album? Jane Doe.
2Judas Priest

As a card carrying metal-head for over 30 years you would think they would be towards the top of my favorites list. They are not. Yes I appreciate them musically, but rare is the occasion when I put on some priest to listen to. If I am going to jam an album? Painkiller
3Morbid Angel

I love death metal. Fucking love it. For some reason though I never pay enough attention to Morbid Angel. They have a great early discography, and are forefathers of the genre. For some reason there are just many other bands I'll jam first. If I am going to jam an album? Blessed Are the Sick.
4Exodus

Blasphemy. As a die hard thrasher this is my favorite band ever right? I mean they wrote the book on solid thrash metal. I'd rather listen to Overkill, or Slayer, or Testament, or .... get the picture. I do not dislike them at all, but even the best of their work (which is 5 worthy thrash) just does not make it's way on to my playlists all that often. If I am going to jam an album? Force of Habit (I know, hahha :D)
5Dokken

Straight up Rock/Metal is my bread and butter when I am not listening to Thrash or Death. I listen to a shit load of it every day. One band I should really dig is Dokken, I just... I don't know why but I don't. No rhyme or reason, but I think I have maybe one Dokken album in my collection. Which, if I am going to jam Dokken it's going to be Tooth and Nail.
