Faraudo 02.21.14	I'd probably put Breaking Bad and Hannibal a bit higher but it's a matter of taste. With that said, True Detective is one hell of a show, and the performances are top notch.

And yes, I watched The Wire man, and I loved it to death, but the last season kinda fell flat in comparison to the other 4, it's an amazing show nontheless. And regarding the pic, thanks! Haha, I find it extremely amusing, to say the least.

Faraudo 02.23.14	Yes, like some of you guys say, Mad Men is pretty great as well, but i'm kinda recommending shows that are not as hard to pick up like this 3. That's mainly because each show only has one season.

CoolCalmJoe 02.23.14	Usually wait for seasons to end and then binge watch, so haven't checked out True Detective yet. Never checked out the Americans cause it was described to me as "basically Homeland" and I didn't want to watch a lesser version of a show I like. However, Homeland season 2 fucking blew so I think I'll check out the Americans today. My rec would be Sherlock, if you haven't seen it yet. The Shield is one of my favorites too, kinda like an antihero action version of The Wire.
Faraudo 02.23.14	Thanks for the recs man, I already watched both, i'm about to see Sherlock's latest season. And no, The Americans is not basically Homeland haha, that's a pretty shitty description. Apart from the fact that both are "thrillers" or "drama with espionage" there are not too many fair comparisons to make. I mean, just look at the context, Homeland is a modern day americanized show, and The Americans is a 80's cold war era show about spies from Russia.
CoolCalmJoe 02.23.14	Werd, I still haven't watched House of Cards cause the same guy said i'd hate every character in the show. About out of shows to watch now though, so I'm glad the Americans sounds like a cool one to watch after I get through Sopranos.
Faraudo 02.23.14	Well, don't listen to that guy, haha. I haven't seen House Of Cards so I don't really know. But yeah, it's a pretty cool espionage show, with great performances, and almost zero teenage drama, unlike in Homeland with Brody's family.

Faraudo 02.23.14	It obviously has bits, but the teenager from The Americans is far less anoying, and they don't dedicate like half of the screen time to her, like in Homeland's third season, aka the one with more teenage daughter screentime than Brody.
