Favorite Albums

These ar my favorite albums to date.
1Protest the Hero
Kezia

This is the album that made me question the idea of genres. It's incredibley deep, thorough, and frantic. Absolutely unstoppable.
2Maylene and the Sons of Disaster
Maylene and the Sons of Disaster

Makes me love being from Alabama. A good story, and fun rock/metal.
3He is Legend
I am Hollywood

Another score for the southern boys. Actually more fun and catchier that Maylene, but they're not from Alabama.
4Vital Remains
Dechristianize

A masterpiece. Even after my death metal days are mostly behind me, I can not deny such an epic work of art. Listenable to from start to finish.
5Brand New
Deja Entendu

Really? Yeah. Really. Beginning to end Deja is smart, catchy, and good for the days when you want to just chill out and drink water to get rid of that nasty hangover.
6Death
Symbolic

Inspiring. I wanted to be Chuck Schuldiner so bad after I heard Zero Tolerance, but then I heard he died from brain cancer so I just stole his vocal styles from this record.
7 August Burns Red
Thrillseeker

Bereakdowns galore. What more do you need when it's time to pit?
8U2
The Joshua Tree

Because I just like it. The Edge was on his A-game. For God's sake his name is "The Edge"!
9Thursday
War All the Time

This album taught me that there was more out there than metal.
10 Chiodos
All's Well that Ends Well

I was on deployment aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise and this is one of the albums that got me through the very monotonous time.
11Every Time I Die
Hot Damn!

I absolutely love Gutter Phenomenon and the Big Dirty. I believe that those albums seperate ETID from the rest of the south-core (or whatever the hell you wanna call it) bands out there. This is just easier for me to listen to. A complete cop-out. So what? I'm a simple man.
12Himsa
Courting Tragedy & Disaster

Groovy. Something to dance to. The craziest show I ever witnessed had the Masquerade in Atlanta nearly being demolished as Himsa finished their show with A Gil in Glass. I literally had my underwear ripped off on stage.
13Dark Tranquility
The Gallery

A tie for favorite Gothenburg sound album with At the Gates' Slaughter of the Souls.
14 At the Gates
Slaughter of the Souls

See previous.
15Deftones
Deftones

I hate nu-metal, but I love the Deftones. At par with White pony, but even better (and harder) musically.
