Non-shitty Metalcore

As you guessed, this is metalcore that isn't generic/boring/dumb as shit. If anyone says Killswitch Engage should be on here, I swear to God, Christmas will be ruined for everyone!
1Johnny Truant
In The Library Of Horrific Events

Atmospheric metalcore that conveys both a deep sense of urgency and a poignant sense of melody few similar bands can measure. That they accomplish this without ever straying into "ballad" territory or without losing their intensity speaks volume.
2Converge
Jane Doe

Ok, so not really metalcore per-say, but whatever. I'll take them off my list when Sputnik stops labeling them as metalcore. So, we all know how great this album is. Nuff said, guys?
3All That Remains
The Fall Of Ideals

Definitely a tad (good deal) generic, but they have the technicality needed to push them above their contemporaries. Their guitar work barely pushes them over the crap/decent line for me.
4Underoath
Define The Great Line

One of those surprisingly not-shitty metalcore albums, Define The Great Line shows a much subtler touch and a better appreciation for melody then the majority of Underoath's discography previous to this.
5Killswitch Engage
