07.25.13 | Here's some that I know:
1. Los Iracundos. They're from argentina, I think. They're a 60's band, and they kind of dabbled in Baroque pop ("classy" pop) and Beatles-esque (using that term lightly) ballads.
youtube.com/watch?v=KFl0kAQzcwg
2. Leo Dan. Another Baroque/classy romantic latin music artist. This guy rules, especially his early 60s (before he got into the mariachi stuff).
youtube.com/watch?v=BQfVyW-aRDA
3. Standstill. These guys have gone through various stages. They started off as a post-hardcore band, but then switched into a psychedelically-influenced brand of alt rock (think of a more stripped down version of Ok Computer), but now they're into a baroque pop/psych folk/indie rock style of playing (think of a cross between Grizzly Bear's Veckatimest and Sleeping At Last's latest stuff, but with a darker feel.)
