Terrifying Movie Scenes I Will Always Remember

Yeah, its my 2nd list of the day but i'm in a film mood. Just thought I'd share with you guys these 2 'scary' scenes in film. These aren't scenes that made me necessarily jump etc. but ones that shook me to the core and have had many sleepless nights over. Atmosphere is what makes a film scary, not jumpscares!
1Mulholland Drive
The Diner Scene

Ok, so this film creeped me out as a whole, but I remember this scene in particular. Dan is explaining to this guy how he had a dream about the very diner they are sitting in, only its darker. He begins to explain how he is filled with dread and how the guy he is talking to feels the same way within the dream. What makes this scene so terrifying is the buildup, the dialogue is so enticing and the music playing over the top is eerie as fuck. Eventually when Dan sees the monster behind the diner he collapses and I promise you...you will too. A truly remarkable piece of cinema ladies and gentlemen.
2Paranormal Activity
The Ending Scene

So yeah I know what you're thinking: 'oh come on man, this film really?!' Well yeah, I watched this at the cinema and it scared me beyond belief. The film has a very creepy undertone throughout, but it is taken to another level in the final sequence. What makes this scene so memorable is all the action is taking place off camera, which makes you come to your own judgement on whats happening. A chilling ending to a chilling movie.
