|"panopticon" Time Signatures|
OK Sputnik musicians, help me out. For the life of me I can't figure out the time signature of "Wills Dissolve" from the Isis album "Panopticon" and it's driving me crazy. You know the syncopated groove that is repeated through the first half of the song? There's gotta be some 7/8 or 5/8 in there but my counting skills aren't what they used to be. Ideas?

|Really obscure, I know, but I'll bet some of you have the answer.|

nah but really, it's a measure of 6/8 followed by a measure of 7/8.
|Its all in quarters, not eighths. it changes frequently. it goes from 5/4 to 6/4 to 4/4 then back to 5/4 to 7/4 and goes to 3/4 and
2/4 at certain points.|

|that's the figure from 1:51- 2:21 that recurs later. the 2/4 at the end is where they leave some space before repeating, and it might be another 5/8 actually. amazing that they can be so busy and still so boring.|
|Boring? Them's fighting words, sniper. Thanks for the help, all.|
