03.07.13 | 1999 was the shit too. | derho
03.07.13 | Yeah but not quite as strikingly full of perfect ones IMO.
1967 is probably the best in terms of number of "classics" but eh
1976 obv the year punk exploded but there's a weir periphery where 75 and 77 have some really good ones that barely missed it
1984 - let it be, zen arcade, double nickels? Yeah
1991 - loveless, spiderland, laughing stock, screamadelica - prolly my personal choice | jmnewcomer18
03.07.13 | 1999 had Filter - Title Of Record and Incubus - Make Yourself, which are two of my all time favorite albums. | laughingman22
03.07.13 | 96 94 | SupercolliderMusic

03.07.13 | During the course of 1997 I owned on CD or tape 1, 2, 4, 11 14-20 and also the greatest album of all time 5 and one of the greatest in 2. With this I also had Pavement, Brighten the Corners and Primal Screams Vanishing Point which are both exceptional. Since then I picked up 12 and GSYBE F# A# (infinity)which is why 97 is the greatest year in music imo. | JohnnyoftheWell

03.07.13 | Not if you wear rose tinted specs are nostalgic as fuck and refuse to move with the times. Me. | YankeeDudel
03.07.13 | its not even about that. its how people can claim a year for music is the best based off of just the most popular albums when there are thousands released every year thus making it stupid to claim one year is better than another. | zakalwe
