You do. It runs on Origin, which is EA's version of Steam...and just like games on Steam, you need to be online to run the game.
Also...I don't think I can quite describe in words how important SimCity 4 Deluxe and SimCity 3000 Unlimited were in my life. The games of my youth; the ones I've played more than any other games ever (with the exception of Pokemon, just because there are more Pokemon games than SimCity ones).
If you haven't been to Simtropolis yet, you're not playing SimCity 4 like it deserves to be played. |

Yeah, it is. The trick is to ignore your advisers for the most part and not give the people any fire stations or schools until you hit a good substantial population. Hell, you don't even need water until your population hits somewhere around 5000 or so. |
