12.17.12 | Thank you guys. Classic rock groups used to give the best concerts. It has to do with the feeling and the vibe, not just technique. |
NightProwler
12.17.12 | My favorites would probably be 16, 9 and 1 - very good list! |
JamieTwort

Thanks Mad, I will most definitely check it since I dig Hawkwind. I have high hopes for this album. |

07.04.13 | Wow your list includes THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND, you rock! one of my favourite bands! manosg, have you listened the live album "All Those Wasted Years" from the punk/glam rock band Hanoi Rocks? It's a solid live album imo, with great production/sound engineering. |
manosg
07.04.13 | I think I've listened only to one studio album from these guys way back and it was fine. I'll give their live album a spin though if you say it's good. |
MrSirLordGentleman
08.17.13 | I would prefer Tokyo Tapes instead of 26, but the list is epic anyway |
manosg
08.17.13 | Thanks man. Agreed, Tokyo Tapes is awesome |
chuutya23
10.18.14 | Get Hawkwind and Man's live at the Greasy Truckers Party.
It's awesome with some epic jams. |
NightProwler
10.18.14 | Sweet list, man, so many essentials on here. My fav is Live After Death, but I think I've clarified that a ton before.
Other live albums than these that I prefer, is the relatively newly release Bowie-album, "Live in Santa Monica '72" (well, 2008 is still pretty new). Also, the deluxe-edition of Billy Joel's "The Stranger" has an amazing live-disc with it, such a charming performance. I'd definitely recommend those two.
Lol, just saw this list is from 2012 |
manosg
10.18.14 | Thanks guys. Seeing this list now, I'd definitely replace 4-5 albums with Johnny Winter - Captured Live!, Loreena McKennitt - Nights From the Alhambra or Metallica - Live Shit which I forgot when I was making the list.
Thanks for the recs as well, I'll give those albums a spin. |
Alkemest
10.18.14 | Good list imo, but no Stevie Ray Vaughn? :o |
manosg
10.18.14 | Stevie Ray Vaughn is intense and I love In Session. Other than that I haven't checked any full live of his, only bits and pieces on youtube. Anything to rec? |
