If I'm being completely objective.
1. Pixies, they were groundbreaking and have influenced countless bands. They have two phenomenal albums that are an acquired taste. The other two albums suck imho.
2. AiC Couldn't disagree more. They are one of the best rock bands and they are extremely consistent. The yhave never made a bad album.
3. Melvins, fuck them... I hate the Melvins
4. Meh, I run hot and cold with these guys and always have. They have some great stuff but they have some pretty unremarkable stuff as well.
5. The Dillinger Escape Plan, aggressive fucking band mate. I'd say they are an acquired taste as well but as heavy/aggressive music goes they are at the top of the heap.
6. Glassjaw I don't love so I'm ambivalent to your opinion of them. |

I can think it's shite while other people don't, it's just these bands do have something I like, but I don't rate them anywhere nearly as highly as most people.

2-AIC, I could take or leave.
3-Melvins are a great band. I really like them.
