My Favourite Bands

The 25 bands or musicians I enjoy the most, in no particular order. I've posted links to three songs by each artist for you to listen to, with a bit of patience and luck you might one day love them as much as I do. Please give feedback, whether you liked these guys or not, etc. Don't take much notice of the bands I compare them to, they are just reference points, I implore you to check out everything here. Thanks heaps, have a nice day.

Mike Patton's best, most creative group. Swans

... okay, this favourite band thing is getting kinda pointless. Since the early 80s Swans have been conjuring some of the darkest, heaviest and most challenging music in the world, juxtaposing apocalyptic walls of sound with biblical and haunting poetry from the mouth of Michael Gira. 97Ufomammut
Ufomammut

Eerily ambient and bonecrushingly heavy, Ufomammut are a psychedelic stoner doom trio from Italy. If Pink Floyd, Om and Electric Wizard had lava space ghosts for children, this is what they'd sound like. For fans of any of those bands, or heavy music in general.
